I believe everyone has a story worth telling. For a long time, I was reluctant to share my own, which, ironically, is what led me to the work I do today—telling the stories that need to be told.My upbringing was far from easy: multiple divorces, a single mother working multiple jobs after my father left, a Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis at 15, attending three high schools, a sister who experienced sexual abuse, and countless moments of feeling isolated. Through it all, I never felt that my story mattered.Despite the challenges, I earned a full scholarship to play basketball in college, where I started as a freshman. However, just two weeks before my third season, I chose to leave the team, giving up both my scholarship and a 4.0 GPA with Academic All-American status, which resulted in leaving school. I made the decision to leave behind a conventional path, take my camera (even though I had no idea what I was doing), and travel the world. Over the next two years, I visited 10+ countries, lived in Turkey for four months, spent six months in South America, and learned life skills that no classroom could ever teach.It was during this time that I realized my experiences enabled me to relate to others, to be vulnerable, and to gain their trust—allowing them to be vulnerable in return.Storytelling is a powerful way to connect, learn, and understand the world around us. Whether I'm working on a documentary that dives deep into real-life experiences or creating a branded project that captures the essence of a brand, my approach is always rooted in empathy and compassion.My mission is to advocate for people, places, and things that are often misunderstood or misrepresented. By bringing these stories to light, I strive to offer new perspectives and foster connections that resonate far beyond the screen. Through unique and authentic storytelling, I aim to inspire change, deepen understanding, and build community.
