Sourcing new investors, introducing Rockpool's private company investment proposition, and supporting Rockpool's private equity and debt fundraising.Rockpool offers investment opportunities to individual investors, family offices, IFA, and Investment firms. We invest in high-quality, fast-growing, and profitable UK private companies. The business was set up in 2011.We invest in established cash-generative private companies with revenues between £5-40m and EBITDA profits of £1-3m. We deploy around £50m annually, across 6-8 UK SMEs with the goal of exiting in 4-5 years’ time, targeting net returns of 300%. These companies are usually under the radar of mid-market private equity which enables us to buy in at attractive multiples (average 5.5x) and sells in a competitive process to maximise returns (average 13x).Rockpool was designed to help successful entrepreneurs, HNW individuals, and family offices to invest directly in these private companies. We also offer many secured and mezzanine loans paying 8-10% cash interest. Since July 2012 we have invested over £600M to support over 50 Management teams. Buy-and-build acquisition-led growth and MBOs are popular elements of Rockpool’s thesis along with the support of management teams, professionalizing operations, and developing business strategies.
