Information Technology Specialist
CurrentAs an IT Specialist I provide direct support to users across the County. My responsibilities include assisting with hardware and software setup, diagnosing problems that come in through our ticketing system, addressing questions related to hardware or software, and aiding users in accessing county resources. I currently support all departments located within our main Government Center office, and will branch out to Health and Human Services if coverage is needed. In this new role I was assigned to help with the AV system at the Government Center and other offices, which includes: Microsoft Teams meeting rooms, Logitech scheduling panels, Crestron XiO Cloud administration, installation of equipment, and advising on new upgrades and systems. I also provide specialized support for specialized software programs in use at the county, including but not limited to, Bluebeam, Cisco Webex, Laserfiche, and others. To facilitate my duties, I utilize Active Directory, Microsoft SCCM, iSupport, the Microsoft enterprise applications suite, IBM MaaS 360 MDM and RSA SecurID.
