Made a lateral move within the ISOutsource organization from Senior IT Consultant to Senior Systems Engineer. I made this decision as I realized that I truly enjoy working hands on with technology and building out technical solutions for business needs. In the Senior Systems Engineer role, I mainly focus on project work within the Microsoft ecosystem. This work varies based on the specific project and client needs. However, a large majority of these projects include migration to Azure AD/Hybrid Azure AD, Intune deployments, SharePoint migrations, network refreshes, and backup deployments using Veeam and Azure backups.

After being promoted to Sr. IT Consultant, I am still managing the IT strategy and day-to-day support of 8 businesses. However, this role comes with more leadership and team building responsibilities. I worked to build teams of Engineers and Consultants, based on individual strengths and client needs. Along with this, I assisted in leading and managing a group of 10 ISOutsource employees. These leadership items include mentoring of junior peers, leading meetings, and systemic organization changes to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of IT consulting at ISOutsource.

During my time as an IT Consultant, I worked as part of an Engineering and Consulting team to support the IT infrastructure of over 600 small to medium sized businesses. I assisted with the IT support of over 600 small to medium sized businesses, while directly managing the IT strategy and day to day support for 8 businesses. I was able to work in a multitude of different IT environments, allowing exposure and proficiency in many industry standard solutions.

While working as a Technical Support Engineer at Amazon, I worked as a part of a SCRUM team responsible for the technical support for 93 Amazon physical stores including production stores and lab environments. I worked with internal developers and store associates to support and enhance physical store systems, primarily in a Linux environment. I was able to prioritize incoming support tickets, troubleshoot and root cause complex issues in an extremely fast paced environment. The team structure had an on-call rotation, in which I participated in. While on-call, I was the primary point of contact for physical store systems where I was responsible for troubleshooting, resolving, triaging, and root causing problems that arose. Along with these responsibilities, I was accountable for working with large, diverse teams on new technological initiatives to the physical store infrastructure.

As a System Engineer, I have a very robust role. I managed and provided support for over 500 clients, with varying IT infrastructures. I am responsible for common system engineering tasks for these clients including the automation of tasks using PowerShell and BASH, network and system administration, keeping up to date technical documentation, and supported miscellaneous IT issues. I worked as a part of the security team to analyze the IT infrastructure of our clients to ensure that data is kept private and secure. Along with this, I managed a vulnerability detection and assessment tool. While managing this tool, I was able to provide insight on vulnerabilities, provide guidance on how to remediate these so they cannot be exploited, and analyze vulnerability trends.

In my role as a Technical Support Engineer I provided technical support to over 500 clients, all with differing IT environments. I Worked with end users, internal IT staff, and management to provide technical assistance. Applied my organization and time management skills to evaluate and prioritize client support issues to ensure all issues get resolved in a timely manner. Communicated with clients via phone, email, instant message, and in person to assess issues and provide valid, long-term solutions. I took advantage of the different IT environments to become effective and efficient in providing IT support to a multitude of enterprise software applications and hardware equipment.

During my tenure as an IT Intern, I focused the majority of my time administrating the Oracle NetSuite ERP and CRM. I configured and trained employees on the use of True Brands ERP and CRM systems. I utilized my knowledge of MySQL query writing to provide valuable data on business trends. I also worked with an outside software developer to customize and automate system functions within Oracle NetSuite. In addition, l assisted in the deployment and customization of Domo, a business intelligence tool. In addition, I also provided end user support for various IT issues.

I worked in the Website Content Manager position for the Central Washington University Dining website. I worked directly with the Director of Dining Services to create a modern, engaging, and aesthetic website in a Drupal environment. In order to achieve this feat, I created engaging media content, applied modern website design, and created additional web and media content as needed by the Central Washington University Dining Services.

While in the role as an IT Intern, I focused on System and Network Administration tasks. I worked within a small IT team to ensure that the high-level software and hardware needs of the business were met. Another main focal point was assisting with the development and rollout of a new website using the Shopify platform. I identified issues, conducted troubleshooting, and implemented different web applications for the new website. Additionally, I performed day to day system and network administration duties. These duties included, but not limited to, troubleshooting network and system infrastructure issues, providing support to end users, repairing and upgrading hardware, rolling out Windows 10 companywide, and assessing software vendors for LOB applications.

Responsible for administrative duties for this non-profit appellate law firm. Responsibilities included: legal file assembly, delivery of legal files to the courthouse, identifying and locating documents as needed or requested, maintained proper records of closed case files, data entry, and other general administrative and calendaring tasks as required.
