I am a biomedical engineering and master of science in mechanical engineering student seeking to enter the medical device industry with plans of pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering focusing on neural engineering. I aspire to engineer new designs in the medical device industry and implement them to create an impact on people’s health and improve their quality of health care and life. I am skilled in computer aided design programs such as SolidWorks, 3d printing, circuit design, programming languages including MATLAB, statistics, six sigma, management and leadership, problem solving, critical thinking, have a superior work ethic, and a deep desire to learn. My professors and peers would describe me as professional, independent, and as an extremely hard worker that pays attention to the details and asks detailed questions when needed. Having a great work ethic is one of my greatest personal values and I take pride in my work and the results that I generate, and I do not quit until my work meets my own personal standards.
