In my role as a Product Support Specialist (PSS), I support a team of over 200 technical representatives over multiple call centers in their daily duties. My focus of is to be an expert on all parts that fall under my responsibility as well as cross training with my fellow PSS's to be able to offer support on their products as well. I develop and implement our new product launch training curriculum both for new hires and existing Technical Representatives; part of that training is to work with the Marketing team to ensure my team is ready for any new product launch and Quality and Engineering post launch to help the technical team guide our customers to a positive experience with our products. Some of the most exciting work I have done at Resideo is the initial field testing of Resideos premier line of thermostats including the Prestige and Alto Thermostats.I excel at the position of Product Support Specialist for my group as it brings a good mixture of tasks and responsibilities that allow me to showcase my skill sets that I have mastered and challenges me to learn new skill sets. Every day brings new and exciting opportunities, to learn and grow. Working with the Comfort Technical team I get to be involved with the latest thermostats, indoor air quality, zoning, and residential combustion technology Resideo has to offer. I am directly involved in the initial and ongoing training of our team, helping shape our diverse and talented Technical Representatives, who are the forward face of our company, as to how Resideo does technical troubleshooting. During one on one or classroom style training with the existing representatives, I have the opportunity to hear through them the voice of our customers and how they are actually interacting with our products.I am known to have great technical aptitude, allowing for quick turnaround for mastery on new technology and reworked older technology. I have strong public speaking, teaching, and facilitating skills for diverse student, professional, and general audiences.
