  At the Surgery, I handled a variety of responsibilities that enhanced my administrative and technical skills. Initially, I was hired to digitize patients' medical records, ensuring their smooth transition into our online system. This involved entering patient information and organizing physical records into new boxes. By preparing referral letters and managing data, I ensured compliance with data protection laws, particularly the Data Protection Act 2018.As a receptionist, I greeted patients upon arrival, provided necessary forms and instructions, and directed them to the appropriate consulting rooms. I managed the doctors' schedules by managing appointments via phone, in person, or online. This role sharpened my communication and organizational abilities, ensuring efficient patient flow.I also supported general administrative tasks such as ordering office supplies, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the practice and waiting areas, handling mail and deliveries, organizing meetings, and arranging equipment or refreshments. Occasionally, I assisted with patient follow-ups and helped uphold health and safety policies by keeping the workplace clean and gathering patient feedback.Throughout my time at the Surgery, I developed strongly in communication, problem-solving, teamwork and organization. My background in computer games development provided me with IT proficiency in programs like Excel, Google Sheets & Documents, Word, and programming languages such as JavaScript and C#. This technical expertise complemented my duties, especially during the digitization project.Additionally, I gained experience in project management by coordinating the transition of patient records to digital formats and organizing office operations. My knowledge of data protection and compliance ensured our practices met legal requirements and best practices. By monitoring quality control procedures and analysing feedback, I contributed to improving service delivery.
