Lidl US is a subsidiary of the European giant retail grocer Lidl. As the Energy Manager, my key duties included overseeing the energy management program for the US business and leading sustainability efforts related to Scope 1 and 2 emissions. I was responsible for all utilities cost planning, developing the first GHG emissions inventory management plan for Lidl US, executing GHG accounting, procuring renewable energy and third-party supply agreements, analyzing energy data to identify opportunities for energy savings, and developing long-term strategy related to decarbonization and energy efficiency.

Arcadis' Information Driven Performance team is working with industry leading organizations to improve their internal processes and management of their environmental, health, and safety data through partnerships with innovative software developers.As a Management Consultant 2, my key duties included serving as a lead business analyst on projects for both internal and external clients. I acted as a key, client-facing team member on high-profile implementation projects. I created automated data visualizations and dashboards for project performance tracking and environmental remediation using Microsoft Power Bi and R. I designed and executed change management activities including, user acceptance testing and client-specific training programs.

Defended and advocated for the expansion of the Social Cost of Carbon as a reliable metric for regulatory agency use through a comprehensive public comment to the United States Forest Service's (USFS) Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement (SDEIS), which combined policy and legal arguments and economic theory to reject the findings of the USFS. Researched and contributed to a policy report of recent energy policy changes in Illinois and Michigan, including the creation of Zero Emissions Credits (ZECs) and the Solar For All program in Illinois, to a higher Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) and charging the Michigan Public Service Commission to develop an appropriate net metering tariff.

Joined the Anthropocene Alliance team during a very exciting pre-launch phase with the goal of advancing their mission of creating and supporting advocacy networks for victims of chronic flooding and plant-based diet consumers. Considering climate change in their dual missions, and the exacerbation of chronic flooding and climate implications of status quo diets. Researched and assessed seed funding opportunities of over 120 foundations.Created a literature review detailing the current landscape of veganism and vegetarianism in the United States to assist strategic planning related to organizational missions.

Assisted the student affairs department of the Harris School of Public Policy with processing accounts payable and funding requests of student organizations and the department.Maintained a calendar of events for student organizations and the student affairs department.

Developed a network of service providers, whom I built relationships with, so that I could offer superior service and market expertise to clients.Negotiated daily with service providers on both transactional and dedicated business to minimize client costs and produce profits. Managed ongoing customers' shipments, collaborating with my network of service providers to ensure service, while actively solving and communicating issues as they occurred.
