Have developed strong knowledge of the following:• How to prepare a sample using TLC or HPLC• How to analyze a sample using UV analysis and Spectrophotometric analysis• Learning how to deal with forensic samples like hair, glass, ink from pens and nails to solve a forensic case. • Doing a number of different experiments like water hardness, Ph, Conductivity etc. to discover if water provided in the college is drinkableSkills Developed:• Organization skills from being able to prepare multiple lab reports each week. • Effective recording, analysis, and interpretation of results• Co-operation skills from being able to work with lab partners to achieve demanded results• Practiced efficient lab safety skills like working under the fume hood, wearing the correct lab equipment, and handling chemicals & glassware with carePOWERCITY • In the warehouse looking after stock coming in and putting away stock when ready• Bringing out stock to the customers via click and collect and providing solutions to customers if there is a problem with the item• Cleaning up the warehouse and making sure stock is in the right place in the warehouse• Co-operating with co-workers to make sure right number of pallets and stock has come in from a delivery and inputting it on the system• Answering the phone and actively listening to the issue and finding out the best way to solve the problem at handSkills profile:Teamwork: I’m able to work independently or as a team if needed. Able to build relationships with work partners and become a trustworthy member of a team. Developed mainly through working constantly in a group for a warehouse.Problem Solving: I’m able to access a situation quickly and provide the best solution for the problem at hand. Have the ability to pay close attention to little details that can provide a big help for the issue. Developed through the warehouse as there are constant problem-solving issues with stock and pallets coming in.Analysis: Developed and demonstrated though excellent achievement in lab work – observation and measurement of chemical changes and systematic and reliable recording and documentation
