Through my studies and professional experience, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of working with people from socially diverse backgrounds as well as the importance of social justice in therapeutic work.My strong work ethic has allowed me to excel in both government and non-government roles. Working as a direct clinician, group facilitator, and researcher have given me a broad and varied skill set that promotes strong leadership and communication skills; both verbal and written, and the ability to conduct thorough assessments. Up for a challenge, and always looking for ways to continue professional development I am currently researching therapeutic modalities with vulnerable populations and the impact on rising morbidity. It is my hope to inform practice in areas that are less represented in social work research and public health.
