I conducted professional, informative tours to international, national and local visitors. Skills acquired during this role included strong presentation and communication skills, organisation, and the ability to adapt and problem solve. This gave me an insight into the world of the tourism industry, combining my love for history and language insofar to tell the story of Youghal. As it was part of ‘Ireland’s Ancient East’ my knowledge of Fáilte Ireland increased during this time as it played an important role in the delivery of the tour.
