I am a full-time International Studies student at the American University School of International Service. I plan to specialize in Foreign Policy and National Security with a regional focus on East Asia and the Pacific. Previously, I studied and researched topics around the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. My professional and academic interests today include energy security, the energy supply chain, and infrastructural geopolitics. My extracurricular involvements include the American University Model United Nations Team, Washington International Relations Conference, and the American University Model UN Conference. My professional background has allowed me to examine geopolitical tensions, specifically through the lens of nuclear energy. As a Research Assistant with the Partnership for Global Security, a renowned nuclear security think tank, I have conducted independent research and written several short works on nuclear competition and cooperation vis-a-vis their geopolitical implications. My BA and MA coursework has broadly built upon this background with classes such as "Geopolitics of Energy," "Analysis of U.S. Foreign Policy," and "Great Power Strategies: The United States, China, and Japan." Collectively, these commitments have driven my interest, and enhanced my capabilities, in policy and geopolitics.I look forward to a hopeful career in analysis within the policy or intelligence area. I am continuously dedicated to the continuation of learning inside and outside of academia.
