I am currently studying at Boise State University for a Master of Public Administration, as well as pursuing a graduate certificate in Nuclear Safeguards and Security. I am using my political science background to inform an equitable, just, and clean energy transition, harnessing the power of sustainable energy sources, specifically nuclear power. My research revolves around the necessary policy-based safety and security measures to ensure the feasibility and success of such transition. Professionally, I have worked in community service in various contexts, serving as a Spanish Language Interpreter in multiple communities and in assorted coordination roles. My desire to give back to my community coupled with my passion and interest in nuclear energy policy has pushed me to pursue further my education and explore new roles in renewable energy policy.
