Hello, My names Dylan I’m a current serving police constable with Dorset Police currently on a response team based out of Bournemouth North.I have served for 4 years whilst also completing my degree with the university of South Wales in which I achieved an upper second class with honours, this was through the PCDA program(Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship).During my time with the university of south wales I completed my final dissertation on the topic of Taser and if it should be a tactical option utilised by all front line officer, during my research my opinion changed and I realised I have a real interest in different tactical options to be utilised by frontline police officers.I pride myself in public service and the work I do, I’m hoping to specialise into roads policing to assist with tackling crime head on whilst deterring criminals from using our road networks. I am currently trained in Response driving, initial pursuit phase driving, Emergency traffic management, stinger, taser, method of entry and Public Order level 3.
