Summer Intern at Penske Logistics in their Wawa Distribution Center. Worked with all aspects of the distribution center but spent most time in the dispatch office. I was responsible for truck inspections for federally required documents, became fluent in Penske’s Clear Chain Fleet Management Suite and Omnitracs XRS Suite. I also facilitated the transition from ABORD Tracking to ELD Tracking, which included updating both software and hardware in all of the trucks, and training the drivers on how to use it. When not in dispatch office I worked on warehouse floor overseeing operation and help load or unload trucks when necessary. Throughout my summer I worked on a Lean Project that will save Penske and Wawa an estimated $55,000 per year
