Finance Intern
InFocus Financial Advisors is one of the best organizations I have ever had the opportunity to work for. Tough lessons were learned, but I can appreciate my time spent at InFocus. I started as a simple Intern who knew very little about finance, financial planning, or professional work. As I progressed through my internship experience I found that my knowledge grew exponentially and so did my quality of work. I learned new things that I could easily translate into the classroom and that excited me. It pushed me to want to learn more. One time my immediate supervisor said I was working too much. As an intern, my main responsibilities were based primarily on Excel. Due to this, I became extremely proficient in Excel and would take on challenges to improve InFocus' processes. This kind of work was exciting and I looked forward to each day. By the end of my internship experience, I had accumulated so much knowledge that it open a door to a frightening amount of knowledge that I did not know. It was a humbling, and surreal experience, that I wish to continue in future employment opportunities. To keep learning. That is one of the main skills I learned during my tenure at InFocus Financial Advisors.
