I graduated mid year 2015, and started work shortly after in June 2015 where i worked for a company called GR-Solutions which designs and installs water treatment plants. i was involved with managing the working staff on site and ensuring the work was being completed.In December 2016, I started working for PDC (Pressure Die Casting) in Pietermaritzburg, on an engineering Graduate program. The program focused on skills development and exposure to manufacturing industries. I had the opportunity to attend multiple Training courses to develop management and peoples skills, as well as involvement in research and development and design/manufacturing projects. I had the opportunity to work with Fanuc Robots, and I have had exposure to the Latest technology in Plastic Injection moulding.I am currently working at Design Engineering to create assemblies for ‘body in white’ assembly line processes in the automotive industry. I started in June 2018, where I have had an amazing opportunity to work in the Design and the Simulation departments, giving me invaluable exposure into both Departments within the company. I have proven I can solve complex problems and provide innovative yet practical solutions, carefully plan resources within a specific time line, use global standards and customer specifications, and I can work effectively in a team.I believe I can adapt, learn quickly, safely operate, efficiently manage resources and produce results satisfactorily within standard operating procedures and deadline commitments.My Hobbies are golf, off-road motorbike riding, surfing, water-polo and cycling. I really enjoy outdoor activities and try to keep myself involved with sport. I am currently playing club water-polo every Thursday evening, and i play golf, or go riding on weekends.
