I am currently working as the Campaign Manager for Iowa Senator Eric Giddens. I am also an Assistant Debate Coach at Roosevelt High School.I graduated from the University of Iowa in May 2023 with two Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and International Relations, with an Art Minor. During my studies, I was active in community organizing initiatives such as the Sunrise Movement, interned at Global Ties Iowa and was a research assistant in maritime conflict. I also participated heavily in the ceramics department in my free time. I did this while teaching debate both online and in-person for 10-20 hours a week and traveling to tournaments to coach and judge. In the summers, I led groups of students along with other debate teachers at Summit Debate Camp as a Senior Lab Leader to further my teaching, leading, and research abilities. Since graduating, I have volunteered as an ESL teaching assistant, prepared for the working life as a waiter, and studied abroad in Geneva, Switzerland for international studies and multilateral diplomacy, conducting qualitative research with experts in the Geneva area. I used my skills from completing my International Relations Senior Thesis the previous year to succeed in this independent research project in a foreign country. I am adept at research, writing, speaking, and teaching, particularly in domestic and international political areas. I have years of experience in customer service, teamwork, community building, and creative work.
