I am a fully qualified electrician by trade. I have served my time with Suir Engineering and have worked with them from June 2017- October 2022. From June 2017 until January 2020 I was working on numerous AWS Data centre projects and Bank of Ireland expansion and maintenance projects. On the Aws data centre projects I was in between the maintenance works [Infills] and Fresh construction projects from the ground up. On the maintenance works I got great experience on working in a live environment. On these projects we would usually be completing add on works to existing builds. It could vary from containment to bms terminations, Fire alarm, emergencey lighting, outside lighting, small power and larger cable installations like 240mm squared and 300mm squared installation.From January 2020 to Present I have been working overseas in a number of different countries on numerous different Data centre projectsFrom January 2020 to January 2021 I was working in Gavle, Sweden on a new Microsoft data centre project which involved the construction and commissioning of the Admin building which was essentially all of the office block and switchroom for all of the offices canteens loading bays and workshops. I was working on the installation of the containment at the start to the final terminations of the lights sockets and PDUs. I I was also involved in the construction and commissioning of the Colo 1 part of the project which was the data hall itself, the electrical switchroom and the fan galleries. On this part of the project I was on the installation of all the conduits needed in the switchroom, Installation of the small power and track lighting in the room. The final commissioning stages like the load banking of the generators. Load banking of the Pdus and busduct in side of the data hall and getting pieces of equipment green tagged and signed off.From January 2021-June 2022 I was working of complete Data hall fit outs for Aws in Frankfurt Germany. On these types of projects I was involved in the installation of all containment to then pulling the cables needed to feed our main pdus to then in turn installing multiple pdus and pdcs, ensuring tnat they are installed correctly to the drawing. I was then involved in the final commissioning and handover of the Data halls to the clientFrom June 2022-October 2022 I was working on an Apple Data centre project. This was the complete electrical installation of Colo 1 and Colo 2. For my time on this project I was part of thee construction crew on the installation of lighting and small power.
