My career aspirations began at an early age when I would argue with my sister over who got the window seat on a commercial airplane. I was intrigued watching the airplane takeoff and land. I thought to myself, “how cool would it be to become a pilot when I grow up?” Now, I am a private pilot with over 525 logged flight hours. While studying at UF, I have been able to do some pilot training and flying on my spare time to stay current and to keep learning. When I took my Private Pilot examination, my Designated Pilot Examiner stated that, "You were much more prepared than most and that it was obvious that you take flying extremely seriously. This job would be so easy if all of my students were as well prepared as you are." I have enjoyed learning about what it takes to become a leader and how to manage others. I plan to take these valuable skills and use them to collaborate with other pilots that I fly with to become an effective team.
