Audio Engineer
CurrentFreelance as a sound assist and floor assist within Virgin Media TV. Responsible for checking mic levels and ensuring all equipment such as RF packs and IFBs are working. If they are not, working around the schedule to ensure all guests and presenters for a show are equipped for segments they are present for. Responsible for micing up guests and presenters, ensuring they are all present in studio for when they are to appear in a programme and to remove any equipment on their on person when finished and powering down alongside ensuring all batteries are changed and charged appropriately. A key task involved with these roles is communication with the gallery and sound departments to ensure levels and camera positioning are all suitable for the programme.
