A career in Sports is my passion! I fell in love with sports, primarily hockey, when I was super young and as I get older the love continues to grow. I love sharing sports knowledge and teaching younger athletes about sports while helping them understand the mechanics behind them.One of my greater strengths is to relay past knowledge and abilities that I've picked up along the way playing and watching sports. I've always been good about “dumbing things down” so that it's easy for everyone to follow. Some youth programs that I've helped with include: McLean Hockey Training – A training camp which prepares youth hockey players in the DFW area for the next level. Teaching skating, puck skills, shooting, and the knowledge of the game. Billy Pye Goaltending Academy - A training camp for goaltenders helping them with positioning, techniques, and shot blocking. Razorback Spring Youth camp – The U of A Razorbacks put on a youth camp for kids in the NWA area helping grow the game of hockey and expand on the kid's hockey skills. It's something we started in spring 2022 and hope to continue. Volunteer work: AMSMF (Amy Michael Staples Memorial Foundation)- In 2018 I helped create a foundation for my lifelong friend and his mother who both unexpectedly passed away. The foundation occurs every year in August as a 3v3 formatted tournament.
