Shortly after my time ended at McDonald’s, I applied and was accepted for the Home Associate position at T.J. Maxx & HomeGoods. Ever since then, I have worked in the Home department and as a cashier. These gave me a lot more great experience with customer service, and how to interact with all kinds of patrons in a personal, friendly manner.

I was trained how to do every position during my time at McDonald’s. I have lots of experience with customer assistance, as well as in food service. Shortly before my 1-year anniversary, I was promoted to Grill Master, which meant I knew and “mastered” every position in the food prep section of the job, and was proficient at making the food and getting it to the customer in record times. It also came with a cool chef’s coat, but that’s besides the point.
