I am the 1st shift warehouse supervisor for 300,000 sq. 3PL warehouse and our customer is Bobcat. I over see and manage the inbound and outbound freight. On average there is 25 inbound loads and 15 outbound loads on 1st shift a day at our building. I have up to 35 employees that directly report to me. I participate in a biweekly meeting where I share the metrics of my area of the operation to the customer. Setting goals is how I meet customer demand and I also work with the logistics team to coordinate the successful delivery of all inbound and outbound loads as well as unexpected loads that need to be expedited. I conduct interviews with potential employees and hire based on our building's needs.
