As a master’s student, I was responsible for understanding and marking Computer Science exams for peers completing an undergraduate course. In addition, I collaborated with colleagues to check, organise and enter the official marks into the system.

Eye of the Storm Project•Collaborated with Theatre Na’Nog to provide a workshop alongside a musical play which has now premiered at SPARK festival in Hong Kong. •Determined requirements for the workshop by sharing ideas and finding solutions with both Theatre Na’Nog and Technocamps.•Developed planning and organisation skills by working in a team to create the 4-hour workshop which involved designing a booklet, making a game and preparing a lesson plan.•Responsible for teaching the workshop in schools to meet Technocamps targets. Pupils were very engaged, and all schools requested a follow-up session.Teaching•Led approximately 100 workshops in schools across South Wales, adapting to a range of audiences; Primary School, Secondary School and College students.•Developed the ability to motivate, persuade and lead people to achieve common objectives.•Grasped the ability to portray concepts in an understandable manner for others to learn.•Taught computer science topics such as Python, Scratch, problem-solving, computational thinking, binary and more to pupils aged 14 and below.•Led a 3-part Java Object Oriented Programming to GCSE computer science class which prepared the class immensely for the Java Greenfoot on-screen exam.Community Outreach Programs•Provided services for events such as science festivals and robotics competitions as I find it important to offer my skills and contribute to delivering equal learning opportunities in the community.•Managed stalls that taught computer science concepts and ideas to audiences from small children to older adults which increases their awareness and interest.•Participated in the running and operation of international women’s day events and others to close the gender gap in STEM subjects.

Thoroughly enjoyed a 3-week intense schedule of theory-based and practical learning that involved networking, Linux and cybersecurity.
