My name is Dylan and I’m a design leader. My passion lies in the design process, which we work throughevery time a new project begins. The acquisition of knowledge, on a known topic or an ambiguous one, isexhilarating. I have extensive experience developing design directions and I have strong visualization skills to render these ideas. The process of optimizing material and conceptual resources is a fun puzzle to solve. I enjoy working collectively with engineers, fabricators and contractors, to break the design into tangible pieces. I have strong drawing skills to take these collaborations into construction document form. The projects I have developed are primarily developer driven projects, where area is maximized and design opportunities are precious. Luckily, many of these clients are design focused and appreciate the effort set forth. I have pulled multiple RTI permits, worked with city planners, gone through the plan check process, and I’m in regular communication with clients. As for the final stage in the process, I have been on-site to numerous projects and have handled RFI’s when they come up. My experience is based in small firm culture, where projects are relatively small in scale, which has allowed me to work autonomously to own and execute the process.
