In the role of Sales Manager, I was positioned at the WIN SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE, located in Wollongong, Australia. The venue was a 6000 seat auditorium and 20,000 seat stadium, for which my responsibility was to to driver revenue through the use of the function areas in the venue.My focus was primarily on increasing conference and convention traffic through the facility, as well as attracting business related functions and events to the venue.I was also envolved in managing hospitality packages for corporate sponsors of large national sporting events such as the NRL, NBL and other major national sporting codes. My role also involved liasing with major clients of the venue to provide hospitality packages to both the hirers of the venues and the ticketed public.
