Maintaining test processing software

Neptune manufactures smart water meters. Our project is managing the IOT data coming into the cloud. My role is data warehousing. I work on database models, ETL, and performance tuning. The platform is in AWS using Redshift, S3, and Aurora, with SSIS as our ETL engine.

I worked on data processing and ETL to support Nexidia's analytics platform.

Developed an automation process for writing large data files to transport between financial institutions and the central server; written in SSIS, C#, and T-SQLDesigned and implemented a billing system to read invoicing data from an SSAS OLAP cube and generate invoicesResearched and developed a big data solution to filter and aggregate billions of transaction records to generate web-based audience files; written in Spark(Scala), Cassandra, and HDFS

* Designed an enterprise data model to scale the back-end retail solution to hundreds of stores* Drove the efforts on a data model layer and API for integration between three sub-systems* Worked on C# code and T-SQL that is a data access layer for reporting applications.* Tested retail software on SQL Server 2012 and updated obsolete scripts.* Created process to configure database mirroring* Converted T-SQL report queries generated by a template engine into stored procedures. Designed the C# framework for the report stored procedures to standardize the database calls, including using table-valued functions to support lists of objects to report on.* Created prototype OLAP database to run reports for enterprise reports

* Managed SQL Server 2000 database servers in a high-transaction, clustered environment.* Managed and configured merge replication and transactional replication.* Tuned and debugged queries, resolving timeouts due to lock waits.* Implemented hardware upgrade of the production SQL Server cluster instances.
