I have 6 years of welding experience. My first year I did a Welding learnership where I learnt GTAW , GMAW and SMAW welding. Closer to the end of my course I participated in the 2018 provincial World Skills Welding Competition and obtained 3 place. I then worked at Zululand Engineering as a boilermaker/welder for about 2 years.I am now currently employed at Desmond Equipment SA where I Weld big Earthmoving Equipment for example, timber truck chassis, dump truck chassis, tractor chassis and all the parts for the machines we build. I am also incharge of welding all the hydraulic cylinders. I have been working there for 3 and a half years and on going and permanent. I reasently obtained my Red Seal Section 26D welding certificate and I am looking to improve my skill set.
