Indie Burger is an award winning burger bar located in the heart of Tenby. Since opening in 2016, it has cemented itself as one of the most sought after restaurants in the area.As Front of House Manager at Indie Burger I was responsible for all daily operations of the restaurant, including but not limited to: • In charge of opening and closing of the venue.• Producing rotas.• Responsible for all Covid-19 secure procedures.• Responsible for stock ordering and liaising with suppliers.• Carrying out weekly EHO inspections and producing reports with all outstanding actions, to ensure the venue is compliant with all EHO requirements.• Implementing an efficient stock control system to ensure all front of house items are at theappropriate levels and rotated accordingly.• Responsible for large amounts of money., including cashing up, till floats and safe counting.• Performing end of day procedures, from supervising venue clean-downs, to end of trading, cashing up, and venue lock-up. • Maintenance of tills and card machines.• Liaising with the head chef to produce the restaurant menu and generate new ideas for weekly specials.• Complaints handling and taking appropriate action with staff and customers. • Staff management and training.• Social media management.

Under the direction of Venues Management, I am accountable for the day to day running of numerous food and beverage outlets across CUSU. This includes the Taf pub, Y Plas Nightclub and Great Hall live music venue. I have been an integral member of the team over the last two and a half years, which has seen record sales across all departments and is continuing to grow. I supervise a group of 200+ staff members made up of Venue Assistants and Team Leaders. I ensure that all departments are working as efficiently as possible and adhere to budget management guidelines. I strive for excellence in customer service, making sure that all consumer expectations are exceeded. Principle Accountabilities Include (but not limited to):- Duty Management of operations when manager is not present.- Personal Licence holder.- To manage and develop all Venues student staff across multiple operations including, training, evaluation, guidance, and discipline.- Customer Care- Ensuring that customers’ expectations are exceeded whenever possible- and all venues team adhere to this.
