I helped CLASP develop its new Family Law Program and assisted Supervising Counsel manage, train and mentor new students.I also undertook full carriage of complex family law files, where I: • Conducted client interviews, performed legal research, provided summary advice and communicated with opposing counsel• Utilized DivorceMate to draft family court forms• Participated in alternative dispute resolution processes

I assisted self represented litigants draft and file court documents at the Ontario Court of Justice under the supervision of Duty Counsel.

I conducted research in International and Comparative Family Law for Professor Kierstead's course at Monash University. As part of my research, I utilized international legal databases to access case law and legislation. I created teaching aids by consolidating articles and preparing case summaries.

In my capacity as Division Leader at CLASP, I carried up to 12 active files under counsel supervision. I represented clients before various tribunals, such as the Social Benefits Tribunal, the Landlord and Tenant Board and the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board.In addition to my file work, I pursued my passion to promote access to justice in the communities I serve. I delivered public legal education workshops on family law, human rights and tenancy issues. I also managed Tenant Duty Counsel volunteer program and assisted Tenant Duty Counsel by conducting intake interviews, monitoring hearing outcomes and helping tenants navigate the hearing process.
