We are working on a wearable headband camera for live music events.Our first product, Kai, is a device that attaches to any pair of glasses right behind the ear. During my time with Glimpse I have lead the creation of 2 products. Our first product launched on Kickstarter and raised $25,000 with 1000% ROI. Glimpse's next product, GlimpseCam, is a wearable camera and connected app that automically captures videos. The camera captures the past, so you never miss a moment. So far this project has built and tested them with a variety of applications. As a DT, I work between designers, PMs and engineers to communicate core product requirements, and rapidly build prototypes, on the Amazon Glow team.I was brought into a confidential initiative to develop a core peripheral of the system. I have assessed customer needs and scenarios, considered UX tradeoffs, and figured out how the part might be manufactured through research and rapid prototyping.I have made recommendations to senior leadership and have worked with team members to create a clear path forward for the component.

As Sr. Research Engineer, I manage customer discovery and product iteration for our Microsoft Word tool, EcOS, which uses machine learning to automate technical documentation within organizations. I manage a grad student and undergraduates through a discovery, interview, and iteration pipeline that is essential in taking our project to market. We are working with a $50,000 budget granted from the NSF I-CORPS program.

I worked with leading engineers to develop a prototype and played a key role in the design and production of an early prototype. I managed the team and got buy-in from key stakeholders.In addition I participated in executive level reviews that defined customer pain points, and identified solutions.

Currently we are creating solution for air quality sensors, medical devices, and computer vision. I lead a 15 person team of business and engineering students in order to build product, discover customers, and raise capital.

I helped the development team at IUNU conceptualize a new casing for one of their cameras. The casing had to be up to IP67 standards and allow for customer adjustments to be made during the production process. in the end I delivered a report on the process and an initial design implementation.

Burger Day is a small charity run by a group of highschoolers from the Glenbrook 225 District. The charity has raised over $150,000 in that last 4 years to help children and families in the Chicagoland Ronald McDonald House.
