The Warehouse Management System (WMS) Clerical Specialist is responsible for activities in WMS including retail, E-commerce and replenishment waves for the distribution center. They work with the Production Control Manager, building supervisors and coordinators to ensure proper flow throughout the building. They provide fixes for wave and replenishment issues and create the workflow for the building each day. This role has a direct impact on almost all aspects of the building each day. Analyzing the transportation network and developing delivery schedules to optimize costs and maintain service levels to delivery locations; maintain frequent and consistent contact with Retail locations, DDCs, DCs, Corporate Transportation and carriers to resolve delivery, scheduling, equipment and product requests; monitors dedicated carrier performance, equipment and costs for HUB and DC fleet and; reviews order activity daily including all rush orders, DC/DDC transfer, home delivery, HUB, ad, sold orders, and commercial sales and actively manages orders to achieve required service levels and interfaces with customers to resolve delivery issues for all order types, resolve dispatching issues and determine equipment/driver needs to support delivery schedule.
