Searching for an expert in eye-catching media or holistic design?When innovation is the pulse propelling us forward similarities are an opportunity to celebrate our differences. Over a decade in creative STEM has taught me this pivotal truth: a happy life is a playful life, and that innovation can’t be created in a vacuum. That's why every decision I make is rooted in addressing real-world needs.Coming from a family of technology and self-expression compelled me to spend six years studying at two institutions renowned for their dedication. During this time I had the privilege of learning blacksmithing, and precision cabinetry under Christian Notley MBE. Followed by product design at Kingston School of Art, UK number one for design.My career began with esteemed London companies like Opus Magnum and clients with global name recognition, such as Netflix. During this time I discovered my voice through 3D animation.Today at The Video News Factory we utilise AI tools and passionate teams of dynamic designers. We deliver bold promos, production videos, AR interactive training media. Plus compelling social media management.In 2018 I partnership with Foster and Partners to develop a process for up cycling PET bottles into 3D filament. A powerful idea, especially when only using parts from Poundland and a human powered crank to operate the device. This project is now open source online where a community of makers keep pushing the idea forwards. While at SmartLouvre I collaborated with the department for business energy and industrial strategy on the EPC grading system, providing information about solar shading. This relationship allowed me to develop product lines which directly responded to the need for country wide energy efficiency in the push for net zero 2050.Imagine the cooling winds of change casting their shadow over Monterey international airport. SmartLouvre’s approach to passive solar shading provides year on year savings in air conditioner costs and cuts operational carbon impact. I facilitated teams of specialist and steered the decision making behind delivering the solution to Monterey’s needs. Our solution was installed under budget because of its simplicity at every step of global construction logistics, and for its holistic approach to intelligent design for a clearly defined problem.
