As part of my work at the UM Beaver Mimicry Stream Restoration project, I tracked the effects of beaver dam analogs on instream habitat and fish populations in the Lolo National Forest and on private lands near the Blackwater and Clearwater rivers. My responsibilities included collecting data on water temperature, discharge, instream habitat surveys, riparian vegetation, and fish population metrics using techniques such as electrofishing, PIT tagging, movement, and genetics. I also worked closely with land owners, FWP biologists, UM students, and volunteers to gather data, maintain equipment, and ensure that daily tasks were completed on schedule. This project allowed me to gain hands-on experience in stream restoration and the impacts of beaver dam analogs on aquatic ecosystems.

As a small business owner, I have a passion for specialty coffee and the equipment that goes along with it. From fixing and maintaining espresso machines and grinders to installing coffee brewers, I am dedicated to helping other business owners keep their establishments running smoothly. Whether it's troubleshooting issues at their locations or connecting employees with the equipment they need to do their jobs, I am committed to helping businesses thrive.

At the Shady Spruce Hostel, I managed a historic building that welcomed guests from all corners of the globe. My duties included overseeing guest management, participating in construction and cleaning efforts, and working closely with the owner to order products, train worldpackers, and maintain the grounds. I enjoyed the opportunity to be a part of such a unique and diverse hospitality experience and continue to be part of the business.

As a full time Barista I worked at an extremely fast pace to ensure our customers had the highest quality cup of coffee in Massachusetts. I maintained a very busy shop often working alone to serve bike riders, staff, and local coffee enthusiasts something special to brighten their day and get them going. Ride Studio Cafe is a unique company that sells specialty coffee and Seven Cycles bicycles. My job was too not only to be a barista, but to also promote the cycling culture and products that Seven Cycles offered.

I have been trained in by the experts at La Marzocco in Seattle to install, repair and maintain espresso machines and equipment used in sale, distribution and consumption of specialty coffee. As a barista and a technician I was able to not only serve world class coffee to our community, but also travel to fix and maintain equipment that house accounts used to sell our coffee at their locations.
