I took one coding class in high school and loved it, so now I have future plans to pursue a PHD in computer science. I love the idea of being able to type into a computer, and produce something that could change how we see the world. My goal is to contrinute to the research and development of applying computer science to industries like health, travel, sports, and entertainment. Although I am not sure exactly how I'll get there, or what it'll look like, I am confident that I will make a difference.My internship at Sandia National Laboratories has given me a glimpse of my potential to contribute meaningfully. Even in a small role, I have improved efficiency for others, creating a ripple effect of positive change. This experience has reinforced my desire to make a difference.I am proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C, and I have applied these skills to real-world problems during my internship. Additionally, I am skilled in mathematical problem-solving and experienced with tools like MATLAB and GitLab. Beyond technical expertise, I excel in communication, teamwork, and leadership, honed through years as a soccer team captain. My strong work ethic and eagerness to learn ensure that I continuously expand my skill set.I am committed to leveraging my abilities and experiences to contribute meaningfully to the field of computer science and beyond.
