| Projects & Contracts Manager | Passionate about Construction | Co-Founder at AR Firebreak🔥At just 25, I've experienced a diverse range of roles that have shaped my professional journey. Starting in 2015, I took my first job as Christmas staff at Argos, where I offloaded early morning deliveries, managed the warehouse, worked as a store room picker, and interacted with customers on the tills.Soon after, I joined a Dublin Port company as a laborer, with hopes of securing an apprenticeship. My responsibilities included maintaining a clean workshop, organizing the storeroom, and assisting maintenance fitters on site. Six months later, I started my apprenticeship as a Mechanical Automation & Maintenance Fitter, gaining invaluable experience working in various Oil & Gas terminals in Dublin Port and Belfast. This role also exposed me to pipe fitting and large-scale fire fighting system installations.My career then took a digital turn as I entered the world of Virtual Digital Construction. I spearheaded the development of this side of the business, using 3D scanning technology and various software to create real dimensional point clouds, design 3D piping models, Bills of Materials, and Isometric Drawings for fabrication and installation. In this capacity, I also honed my skills in site surveying and project management.In June 2020, my father and I launched AR Firebreak, a passive fire protection and construction company. Building on his years of sole trading experience, we have established a strong track record in retrofitting passive fire protection systems in universities, schools, restaurants, nursing homes, apartment blocks, and hundreds of social housing units.
