As a noise and vibration engineer / project manager at Aercoustics Engineering Ltd. focusing on architectural design projects, I take them from their preliminary schematic design, through contract documents and ultimately contract administration and construction. This includes delivering comprehensive design presentations and briefs in a competitive bid environment.Alongside the rest of the design team, including architects and other design engineers, I provide engineering recommendations that impact structural design, mechanical design, the building envelope and the architectural interiors. This communication is in the form of design meetings, presentations, reports and conceptual drawings.Not only am I well versed in traditional design-bid-build projects, I also have extensive experience with the Public Private Partnership (P3) alternate financing model, having been involved in projects such as the Pan Am Games sports facilities, St. Michael's Hospital's Patient Care Tower extensive renovation, and the new Mackenzie Vaughan Hospital- currently in design.Some of my other past projects have included the Aga Khan Museum, the Globe and Mail Center, The University of Toronto's Daniel's Faculty of Architecture and Ryerson University's Student Learning Center; all in Toronto.

Previously, I was a member of Ernst & Young’s Capital Equipment Valuation Team. As part of this team, I specialized in providing extensive fixed asset valuations for a variety of applications including purchase price allocations, tax planning, insurance, goodwill impairment and testing, pre-deal due diligence and other financial compliance and regulatory purposes.My clients in this field were primarily in the mining and energy sectors, including Nyrstar, Breakwater Resources, Barrick Gold and Agrium Inc. During these engagements I led site visits to mining sites in South and Central America, as well as throughout Western and Central Canada. I was responsible for generating financial models to better assign the fair market value of these sites, and for reporting these values as part of the Business Valuations Team’s larger reports.
