I specialize in Field Data Capture systems at Murphy. The emphasis is on managing the data coming in from the field from different sources, and ensuring accurate allocations for oil and gas production, and includes: - Development and administration of data interfaces - Gathering system management, creating formulas and calculations to accurately allocate production - Automation of data maintenance and integrity tasks I also act in a business intelligence/data science like capacity - designing, developing, and implementing reporting solutions in Spotfire and other reporting systems, while helping to manage the larger data infrastructure and team data outputs. This includes various scripting and some Python coding. My work has a heavy reliance on SQL development - creating queries and database objects to deliver intelligence, and troubleshoot enterprise applications. And of course, this all leans on some system administration tasks and a familiarity with enterprise infrastructure like Windows Server, IIS, MSSQL Server, and batch scripting.Member of the Digital Transformation & Innovation Team - tasked with shaping the future data architecture at Murphy and executing on high-value innovation projects.
