I managed the supplies and jobs for Columbae, Stanford's oldest undergraduate cooperative house. This entailed tracking the amount of supplies on-hand and ordering more as needed to ensure the house stayed stocked. Additionally, I coordinated the weekly and biweekly job assignments for residents and made sure residents were doing their assigned chores. The job also included the standard jobs of an RA, such as checking in with residents, responding to emergencies and urgent problems, and communicating with administration. Lastly, I supported other RAs with tasks such as organizing the kitchen and facilitating house meetings.

As part of the work exchange program, I made and used compost tea; built a compost pile; prepared soil for planting through plowing, weeding, and fertilizing by hand; resolved issues in irrigation lines; fertilized trees; spread manure; and applied mulch.

As a lab assistant, I ran a variety of procedures on soil samples as part of a study on the effects of anoxic microsites on microbial respiration and carbon release. The research project culminated in a poster presentation at a Stanford undergraduate research symposium.

As a volunteer student researcher, I read relevant research papers about freshwater microplastic pollution and extracted data to be analyzed for the meta-analysis. We were also given training on how to collect field samples from a lake and shore.

I was in charge of advertising the theater production Voices of the Earth by reaching out to drama departments at other universities.

I mowed lawns from spring through fall for clients in my neighborhood.
