My primary interests include: animal rescue and rehabilitation, marine mammal and salmonid conservation, endangered species survival/protection, population dynamics, climate change/environmental impacts and building relationships with Indigenous peoples/small scale fisheries.

In partnership with the Torngat Wildlife, Plants and Fisheries Secretariat, the Torngat Fish Producers Co-Operative and the Nunatsiavut Government. It will include analyzing historical data and estimating current population trends via ARIS and statistical modeling to fill in monitoring gaps, develop an holistic picture of char dynamics and support the Nunatsiavut char fisheries. The main goal is to support sustainable fisheries and Inuit food security. -

The main goal was also to assess how ethical and meaningful community engagement may work in practice, in the context of a large scale transdisciplinary project . -
