I began my career journey by developing customer service and adaptability skills through working with the public in grocery store positions. I developed the ability to quickly attain new skills and maintain an organized work environment. My journey took a turn when I began working in the science of applied behavior analysis as a registered behavior technician, following my interest of study in psychology at Appalachian State University. This position allowed me to work alongside psychologists to implement treatment and therapy for children, and learn clinical professionalism and behavioral teaching skills in the process. Due to my increasing interests in the field of mental health, my goal is to attend medical school and become a psychiatrist.
