Legal Research Assistant to Professor Kaushal. My work consisted of two primary tasks:- To perform legal research on Canadian citizenship in comparison to the USA, UK, and Australia. - To decipher the Canadian Citizenship Act into plain language for use in an Oxford Handbook.

My internship was part of Peter Sankoff's 100 Internship Project. I performed legal research as COVID-19 developed, worked in collaboration with the mentoring lawyer, and drafted a legal memorandum regarding enhanced credit and its relation to COVID-19. The internship was completed remotely.

My main duties were to perform testing and processing, with a variety of analytical tools, on beef and pork products for the purpose of identifying health hazards (e.g., bacteria, mold, etc.). In doing so, I designed and coded systems to promote hazard identification efficiency and efficacy. I also supervised, enforced, and educated 300 staff members on complicated quality control procedures including Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and WorkSafeBC.

Specializing in transit customer information (CI) and public services, specifically in the ‘Greater Vancouver Regional District’. Individuals would call into the transit centre and a customer information clerk would automatically be connected and would assist the client. General route information, specific route information, and specific bus information were among the majority of queries. However, clerks also handled complaints, lost item reports, mailing of transit schedules, and most other various inquiries.

I was originally a shipper/receiver and then moved into retail sales. I generally focused on walk-in computer sales/information and customer service as a whole. This included informing customers on upcoming products, current line-ups, upgrade paths, purchasing advice, and also included technical analysis and repair for both software and hardware.

I worked as a shipper/receiver and with the use of forklifts, I bundled and loaded vehicles with cast iron, ductile iron, and PVC water/sewer piping.

Employed as a warehouse order selector. This consisted of receiving instructions from an automated system and moving items in accordance.

Worked as an aquatic lifeguard, seasonally, in a considerably large public setting which utilized my first aid and lifeguarding skills. This Involved a very tight-knit team in which all employees had strong communication abilities, and had to scrutinize large areas of water in a short period of time with the objective of public safety.

I received food and beverage orders from the public and entered them into a system for the back-end staff to complete, where I then served the customer, all in a timely manner. Essentially focusing on efficiency and productivity in a company that emphasized excellent customer relations and teamwork.
