About Dylan Sherman

Dylan is a lawyer, nano-materials scientist and educator who strives for global sustainable development through multidisciplinary action. He has most recently worked in science policy with the UK Parliament and Australia’s leading Science Academy, focussing on climate science, AI & computing, and regulating ‘greenwashing’. His published materials research in international journals including Nature Communications investigates solar-powered nanomaterials, metal-organic frameworks, for carbon capture, water purification and green technologies. Dylan has received numerous international accolades for his work at Oxford University, including 2022 American Chemical Society Future Leader, 2023 Silver Medal at STEM for Britain and the Australian 2020 BHP Sir John Monash Scholarship. Dylan has also practiced as a corporate lawyer at Clayton Utz (Sydney), with expertise in environmental law and intellectual property, and is a world champion negotiator.
