I go to CU Boulder where I am studying Integrative Physiology on a pre-medicinal track. Being a student takes most of my time. I am an honors student, I have been on the Dean's list for four semesters, and my cumulative GPA is 3.9. In addition to completing courses through CU, in the summer of 2023 I obtained my EMT certification through Denver Health. I went back in January of 2023 to Denver Health and obtained my IV certification which not only taught me how to start IV lines, but also draw blood, administer intramuscular shots, and get intraosseous lines.Currently, I work as an EMT-IV in the Lincoln Community Health ED. A level IV trauma center where I get the oppurtunity to do most of the things in my EMT-IV scope of practice, and also regularly drive the ambulance to various different hospitals in the Denver metro area for patient transport.At a cross section between my EMT-IV education and being a student at CU, I get the opportunity to volunteer for events going on around campus as part of a team of EMTs through the CUEMS club.As a part of my ongoing search to get involved with research on camps to better prepare me for my future career I have completed IRB training modules for biomedical research investigators and key personnel.
