Surprisingly, I do have somewhat of a science backed plan to make it there and I'd love to talk about it over coffee sometime ;) In the meantime, I am preparing to one day start a neurotechnology company through my degree and building startups.I am currently studying Neuroscience with Entrepreneurship at the University of Manchester. My course means that I am developing my theoretical knowledge and lab skills as well as taking business modules that help me to focus on my startup.So far I have founded my first business, Studemi, a platform that enables students to mentor each other. I managed to earn a place in AccelerateME's cohort X and received 3 months of support, workshops and unparalleled experiences as well as £5000 in equity free investment, office space and guidance. I am also the project lead for the Artemis drone project at the University of Manchester Robotics society. On top of managing a team and budget I have developed a plan to take the project in a new direction and build a drone controlled with neural interfaces (EMG, EEG and fNIRS) to give pilots a more immersive experience.Finally, in my own time I am learning python, data annotation, and how to build simple AI models with machine learning. My goal is to improve my data analysis skills so that I can work with the vast quantities of information involved in neurotechnology and brain machine interfaces.Interests: Brain Machine Interfaces, Programming, Data Analysis, Electronic Engineering, Enterprise, Neuroscience and Astronomy
