• Work with paper and PDF blue prints to perform takeoffs.• Review specifications for job requirements and materials.• Responsible for submitting RFI's and substitution requests to General Contractors.• Review materials and installation requirements for each product specified.• Communicate with general contractor/owner regarding scheduling and phasing of the project.• Request pricing from distributors and vendors for products.• Work closely with foremen and installers to accurately estimate installation time and costs.• Put together material, labor, and travel costs for each specification section.• Put together proposals to be turned into General Contractors or Owners.• Follow up on previous bids to get results.• If awarded the project, put together and turn in required paperwork for new jobs.

• Gather paperwork and job information from the project manager.• Ensure all materials and tools are staged and loaded.• Review the product data and installation process. Communicate this information to the rest of the team.• Verify areas where work is to be done and meet with project superintendents about any discrepancies.• When applicable, take environmental data readings. Examples: air temperature, relative humidity, surface temperature, and dewpoint.• Line out team members on what jobs they will be performing.• Be able to perform all aspects of the installation process.• Ensure all team members are using the appropriate PPE for their assigned job.• Ensure team members are performing their task correctly.• Perform quality control checks periodically during the installation. Make corrections to any incorrect work.• Walk the work area at the end of each day and at the end of the project to ensure the installation is up to quality standards and thesite is cleaned up.• Communicate progress of the project to the project manager.
