I started working with Highlife Recovery as an IT support specialist in 2022. The previous IT administrator left shortly after I started, and I was thrown into learning every aspect of IT in a mid-size business. In that time I have grown to understand & be able to understand & manage every IT / IS aspect within the company. Recently I was promoted to be the IT supervisor, marketing supervisor, quality assurance and improvement officer, and compliance officer. My favorite part of the job is getting things to where they can run as efficiently and effectively as possible by understanding processes and leveraging technology. After getting the IT infrastructure to a state where it can run with minimal man-hours, my focus has shifted to coordinating with other departments to improve their workflows, supervision of marketing & IT, and managing & developing new projects. Within the larger field of IT / IS, I enjoy the endless landscape of new subjects to learn.
