As a physician executive leader, I have progressive experience in provider-side strategic and operational leadership with a proven track record of success. I am a seasoned leader who as conceived, developed, implemented and maintained both value-based and fee-for-service programs that led to exceptional business outcomes, including both clinical and financial targets. Most recently, I was CEO of the largest nephrology specialty practice in California. Even as we grew from 30 to 60 physicians during my tenure, we worked to shift our business “flywheel” from fee for service to a hybrid capitated model, and attainment of the quadruple aim in healthcare.By caring for the people who provide care to patients and by “starting with the end in mind”, my approach is outcomes-oriented, patient-centered, and process-driven. Through communication and accountability, I fostered a high-performance team culture. Applying data-driven decision-making to the care of complex chronically ill patients, I led our physician provider group to achieve nationally recognized top-tier outcomes in value based kidney care through multi-stakeholder alignment and practice transformation. I’m a life-long learner and have a strong growth mindset.
