From there, I gained enough experience to be promoted to Helpdesk Supervisor. In this role, I expanded my leadership skills by providing guidance and troubleshooting advice to oncoming technicians. Then I became a team member in the Network Operations Center responsible for maintaining the functionality of the ships network and tactical systems, actively seeking out and preventing wide-spread issues.Currently, I am an Information Systems Watch Officer in charge of overall management and tasking for all NOC staff members. Ensuring compliance, routine occurrences, and future incidents are managed properly to provide full availability of ship based systems aboard USS NIMITZ. I am looking to pursue opportunities as a Cyber Security Analyst/Manager, with eventual prospects and interests in pursuing Red Team penetration testing roles.
